Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Boulder Thrasher was given his name because of his immense strength and violent disposition. When he was a hatchling he was rather grumpy and antisocial, often throwing temper tantrums whenever he didn't get his own way. Nothing the nursers, or even Crystal could do helped. When he grew older, he became slightly more friendly, but still has a very short temper. His mate, Pebble Scales, is the only one who can calm him down.
