Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Trust, in contrast to his name, is a rather apprehensive soul. Preferring to sequester himself, he rarely seeks out the company of other dragons. When approached or confronted, Trust takes a cue from his Shadow Walker mother and vanishes through a combination of magic and stealth. If he must interact with others and is not comfortable with them, Trust is very stiff and polite while looking for an out. With the few dragons that have Trust's confidence, he talks about his passions, often at length and always excitedly.

While cloistered away, Trust studies how mixed heritage effects dragons. Working with the information gathered by his partner and building from his own experiences, he seeks a connection between the ancestry of dragons and what residual magics effect them and how. He hopes his finds can improve the use of mixed magics everywhere.

On the rare occasion he stops to rest, Trust turns his attentions to his mate, Calamity, or chats up his friends, Ichabod and Urza.
