Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Cypress is a very calm and noble dragon. He is always ready to defend his honor or the honor of another dragon, and is ever the gentleman to females- though never flirtatiously. He would never dream of cheating on his mate, Electric Clouds, even if she isn't as pure or loyal as he is. He chose his own name, wanting to be as pure and serene as a majestic tree.
