Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

No one knows where his egg came from. One of the females guarding the nest told the clan leaders of a cold shadow that stole into the cave and when it left there was the mysterious new egg. As he grew the others expected Pitch to be grateful that the clan had spared him, but he wasn't. He grew up ruthless, constantly craving power and never showed mercy, even to his nest mates. He craved the power of the dragon scroll and the title of leadership, but got neither. Now he holds a grudge against Argon, the true keeper of the scroll and the one known as King Cerulean whom has taken leadership of the clan. Pitch is slowly coming up with a plan to take his rightful place and silence those who would dare oppose him. While gathering followers he is known to be very stealthy. Pitch is not to be trusted.
