Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has bright blue eyes, and is as clumsy as any other hatchling, but it never seems to get injured.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

User Description

This poor hatchling was frozen before she could gender. So her caretaker has decided to leave her unnamed. The poor hatchling gets made fun of by the other dragons, for not only not knowing what gender she was when she was first frozen, but also because their caretaker refuses to name her. Her only real friend is Autumn Tempestas, another frozen hatchling. They can usually be found playing quietly together near the cave entrance.

The hatchling seems to be coping well with the name calling and teasing. And even though she has gendered, her caretaker still refuses to name her.
