Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ethioxica is a happy-go-lucky, friendly creature that likes to spent most of her time indoors. She can often be found in the cave where all scrolls and books are hidden, peeking through some of them. Few are the dragons that know how to read so she does take pride in her skills. She was taught how to read by one of Flitz's female silvers, Silver of Twilight. She loves to be around her teacher while looking through scrolls in her company or grooming the later's tail and scales. Epicus seems to be quite jealous of Twilight's beautiful, silver body, though she'd never admit. It's quite the pity actually since there are so many other dragons that would kill to have her own gold, sparkly scales, something that would have made them so much more wanted and loved by their human owners..
