Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has a somber color, but is surprisingly playful.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Baby of the Swamps is coddled by much of clan. Cute beyond belief the other dragons find Baby's cheerful attitude and adorable clumsiness incredibly endearing. Baby spends  much of herhis time with herhis parents and their friends and the rest of it playing with the other hatchlings. She particularly enjoys going down with the other hatchlings to listen to Pristine Saphire of the Dolphin's stories about non-existent creatures and faraway places. Of the frozen hatchlings Baby is one who has never felt any need to regret herhis frozen state.
