Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has brightly colored fins on its back.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Duv is a rather silly little hatchling. He likes to be the center of attention but hasn't yet figured out the difference between when other dragons laugh with him and when they laugh at him. Normally, Duv makes himself look like a fool when he thinks he's being funny. The other dragons will laugh at Duv, but only out of either embarrassment at his behavior or because he of his own idiocy.
