Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Orion is practical dragon. She loves the stars for their beauty and distance from the world, often talking to them as if they could reply to her. She is shy around most dragons, but once she is coaxed to speak is frank and to-the-point. She often seems quite sad, and not without good reason. She was stolen from her family and sold as a black-market pet, undergoing years of abuse before being rescued and replaced into Silvre's dragon family. There, she refused to speak to anyone for many years, until she met Neptune, another Nebula dragon. Neptune coaxed her out of her shell, staying by her side when all others would abandon her, and introduced her to the study of the stars. She fell in love with her kind mentor, but the feelings were unrequited. Devastated, she moved from the mountaintop cave they shared to the forest floor, where she now lives alone.
