Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

For the most part, Tsuri avoids human settlements. The only time he makes an exception is during festival times, particularly when the seaside villages hold their raucous springtime celebrations. Watching from afar, Tsuri finds that he is always dazzled by the dancing displays, especially when he sees dozens of humans twirling together in lines or circles. In more recent years, he's started telling the members of his pod about these human dances, and he and his family have adapted some of the patterns into synchronized swimming routines that water-dwelling dragons can perform. He doesn't get as giggly as his younger sisters do when there's an opportunity to invite other Blunas to dance, but Tsuri hopes that one day, he'll find someone who will go with him to watch the future springtime festivities together.
