Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has bright blue eyes, and is as clumsy as any other hatchling, but it never seems to get injured.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This little cherub tries hard to help out. Empowered with healing magic, she applies it to everything she wants to make "all better". Unfortunately, she is still learning what can be cured and what cannot.

- She figured out that stone cracks cannot be healed after she knocked over a stone carving and tried to put it back together;

- she tried to heal a tree that had black lichen on it and caused both the tree and the lichen to grow more;

- after taking a bite out of someone elses fish dinner, she tried to grow it back but could not; and

- when a spring dried up, she was unable to get it flowing again.

     About the only time her magic appears useful is when someone or something is bleeding—she can make the bleeding stop. She keeps on trying though!
