When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This dragon was named Waterhorse since her mother loves horses a lot. However, Waterhorse had no special love for horses when she was a hatchling. But one day her father told her, that Poseidon, God of the sea, was also the god of horses. That made little Waterhorse very proud of her name. She imagined herself to be a favorite of Poseidon, and started to act as some sort of princess of the lake in which she lived.

When she later discovered that Poseidon was also god of earthquakes, she became best friends with some of the Earth dragons that lived nearby.

The lesson to be learned here: name your dragons carefully, since a name can have huge implications on the life and actions of the dragon.
