Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Burning Heart is hot headed and rough. Even though, he is sweet... in his own way. He has to warm up the eggs so that they don't freeze in the winter months. His mate, Rose Frill, is one of the warmest dragons in the cave because of Burning Heart. Their adopted child is Hope's Memory. Though Hope's Memory doesn't like the heat Burning Heart gives off she still loves him. Burning Heart likes to get magma and make pots for water with them for his clan mates.
