Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Treaclelatte has an exceptional amount of energy. No matter where she is or what task she is doing, she is always moving. Whether it merely is tapping her tail or beating her wings in a battle against violent winds, Treaclelatte is never still long enough for any eye to catch the instance. Elder dragons, particularly females, look down upon the eager dragoness, disapproving of her flighty manner and gossiping about Treaclelatte behind her back.
