Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dua is part of a massive effort by Storm Dragons across their world to try and change the world's weather. Over the centuries, the storms that sweep her world are becoming more and more violent. Many are beginning to fear that the end of the world is coming due to the fierce nature of these massive tempests. Dua is not one to let the world end without her attempting to stop it. So she came up with the idea to pull together a massive amount of Storm dragons to stabilize the weather. So far, it is just Dua and another dragon, but she knows that other dragons are on board with her plan and are helping to spread the word.
