Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Shiroma has always been fascinated with chickens ever since Koko was introduced to her, along with a stern 'No eating' from Pyro. She would spend days just watching Koko's behavior, carefully writing notes with magic along with some papers "borrowed" from Pyro. She was a kind hatchling who learned healing arts from her father, which she practiced by healing scrapes from the other hatchlings' playful roughhousing, and remembering her dreams from her mother, which she then spins into delightful tales for the others. Although she is well-known for her stories, her dream is to own a little island where she can learn about and care for chickens in peace.
