Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

For the sake of the Blunas. That was the reason Oceans had been born, she was told. To spread the reach of the Blunas. Her parents were not in love. They were not mated. They had only bred once together, to produce her. She resented it.

Oceans does not know her purpose in life. She spends her days atop the cliffs of her birthplace, sometimes happy, sometimes devastated, wishing for once in her life... that her family could be together. But one from the sky and one from the oceans could never be truly happy together...
