Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kikongo has dedicated himself to finding out the mystery of the zombie and neglected dragons. He is often seen as cruel because he uses unwilling participants in his experiments. In fact, Kikongo was one of the few dragon scientists to make a zombie dragon. Kikongo's success was completely accidental; a baby frill dragon intruded upon his lab and he killed it, later reviving it as an afterthought and turning it undead. Kikongo named it 'Bokora' and treated it as a minion until it escaped into the wilderness. "It is disappointing that the creature got away." said Kikongo, "However, it has provided me with all that I need."

Even Kikongo's children do not seem to be safe from his merciless experimenting, as one of his offspring was purposely bitten by vampire dragon and was turned into a cold and dark beast.

The sound of pained moaning has been heard coming from the magi's cave as of late, and there is a rumor that he has managed the find out the secret of the neglected dragon.
