Avatars of Change are unpredictable, exuberant dragons whose unique connection to magic has saturated their entire bodies. It is said that possessing one of their iridescent scales can change one’s fate, and many have sought the favor of these dragons hoping to receive a scale as a gift.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Legend has it that a beautiful monster once ruled the skies, going by the name of Askook Typhoon. His father, and generations before, had terrorized the skies and seas below. But Askook chose to settle down under the care of DeadlyNadder5555. He soon met Tusnami Asfell, who became his mate, and had Delphini Heartsong. Yet Tusnami and Askook fell out, and Askook has had two other mates up till now. He had a child with The One Silent Star At Night who ran away, and had Azelfian the Great with Silvertipped Faith, his final mate.

Azelfian The Great is a loyal, beautiful female Avatar of Change who takes after her father's looks and personality. She likes her half-sister, Delphini, but Delphi finds her annoying and so avoids her. She makes sure not a speck of dirt is on her beautiful scales. She is widely in love with 28PED, but he is not keen on her so he keeps his distance.
