Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Natarrin and his mate Saileene are always flying together. They have circled the earth hundreds of times, due to the fact they have already lived for decades. They don't always travel the same path, the scenery would get boring after a while. So they make new paths around the earth. They always fly side-by-side, because they see their relationship as even; neither one is better or more powerful than the other. Neither is the leader, neither is the follower.
Natarrin was the cliche loner; ignoring the female's advances for love and traveling as he pleased. But his whole mindset changed when he met Saileene, the "princess" of a pack of his kind. She was perhaps the most beautiful and sweet Sunsong Amphiptere he had ever met. So when she was pouring her heart out to him, telling him about her problem with her father not letting her choose the path she wanted, he offered her a share of the life of freedom he had held so dear. She was the only one he wanted to share it with.
