Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Caring nothing for the forests and crude caves in which his parents live, this creature has and always will be at home in the refined, subtle world of nobility. Having wandered away from his nest only a few days after his birth, he was found and raised by a very polite nobleman, and while he was originally meant to be a pet, the man was delighted to discover that not only was Vipen sentient, he was highly intelligent--and the two became inseparable friends. Vipen is a young adult now, and helps his comrade in all manners of political maneuvering and manipulation amidst a landscape of fine paintings, fresh wine and stunning decor. He often takes advantage of the naivety of other nobles by pretending to be nothing but a dumb beast, at which point they will happily blabber away to their friends about all types of lovely, revealing information.
