Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

Yule-story is one of the enchanted dragon golems that can be found among the flock. Unlike most of them, however, they were not created by the antics of the Spellweavers. Yule-story was imbued with life by Avatar of Flamingos, an Avatar of Creation.

Intended to be a companion to the Avatar, Yule-story contains pages and parchment from dozens of books and scrolls of Yule-themed stories, Flamingos' favorite time of year. Despite only containing a part of each story, the little Paper dragon knows the entirety of each tale. How precisely that works, no one knows, but the Mageia and Magi reckon that it's something to do with "narrative interconnectivity", whatever that means.

Yule-story is often found near their creator, but is equally likely to be found in the nursery, spreading the joy of Yule to all who'll listen to his tales.
