Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Reena Lightbender is a fun-loving, feisty dragoness. She and her mate, Azure Junglehunter love racing across wide, open spaces. Reena can often be found 'dancing' in the air or lounging on rocks while her mate hunts. Reena is not to fond of young dragons which is why she and Azure Junglehunter have very few young.
