Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Whipping Strike, being a very talented sprinter, loves to race his peers. Most other Whiptail Dragons race long distances that seem neverending, but Whipping only will do short runs. 2 miles is his maximum amount to sprint. He loves attention, and even more when dragons ask about his name. It was given to him by his clan master, because his strikes are so glimmering blue.
