Frostbite Dragons first appear at the beginning of winter, creeping in with the frosts. They have found their place in human lore as the spirits of snow, since they only reveal themselves during icy weather. In the depths of winter, they cover the world in blankets of snow and are believed to be responsible for the glittering frost that creeps over everything. Although they appear cold and distant, they are actually rather mischievous and enjoy spending time dancing through blizzards.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

During the majority of the year, this dragoness is a quiet and well-mannered adult, but when it's that time of year where a chill begins to creep into the air and snow starts to blanket the ground you'd think she was a hatchling, quite a large one, judging by her behavior. Up at the crack of dawn each day, she runs outside and excitedly asks anyone and everyone she meets if they want to build a snowdragon with her. "It doesn't have to be a snowdragon!" she insists, but rarely does anyone besides the cave's hatchlings stop and play with her. She doesn't let that get to her though, and loves building elaborate creations out of snow and ice. Some of the dragons in her cave tell stories of the Snow Wars, which happened before her kind were brought into her owner's cave, and she tries to re-create them by staging epic snowball fights among her owner's dragons, but again, few besides the young ones partake of the fun.
