Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

His name means "Harmonious Hope" in Japanese. He is one of the many sons of Kentaro and Kiyomi, and is his mother's precious pink angel. He loves helping with the colony's hatchlings and eggs, and all the mothers love having his help. He is a very peaceful dragon, and loves nothing more than to be cuddling with his mate, Kimiko. Kazuki is the patriarch of the Hope family. He and Kimiko have a rather large, and rather pink, family together. All the other dragons in the colony joke that their family is like a large pink wave. Kazuki and Kimiko have also adopted several hatchlings, and love having younglings in their cave. The little ones bring such joy and laughter to all around them; Kazuki always says, "Best to keep at least a couple around." Kazuki and Kimiko are so madly in love, and enjoy nothing more than cuddling with one another, and watching their family. They love each other so much, and they always will. They are soul mates, meant to be together, for all time.
