Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Taken in by a human who hoped she'd bring good luck, this dragon both failed and exceeded expectations in certain ways. Oh, she was hopeless at spreading fortune; rather she had a tendency to induce the opposite, the young female surprisingly clumsy for one of her breed and in the habit of knocking over expensive glassware and decor with nervous twitches of her tail. On the other hand, however, she had a knack for music that exceeded all the most well regarded composers in the area. Capable of both coming up with catchy melodies and performing them on just about any instrument she can get hold of (which is rendered all the more amazing considering she has to work strings and dials with thick wing fingers), her songs have brought much joy to both her caretaker and the locals--and to her own heart as well.
