Electric Dragons wield electricity with great prowess. Bright sparks race across these dragons’ bodies in a dazzling dance of light, complemented by the blindingly radiant sparks on their tails. Using their bellies and manes as stores for this electrical energy, Electric Dragons wield crackling magic, stunning and electrocuting their prey with a whip of their tail. During mating season it is typically those with the most brilliant sparks—an indicator of strength and hunting ability—that are drawn to each other.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tempest's name serves to mirror her personality. She has a temper like a volcano with an attitude to match, and can often be found lashing out with her electrical powers in a fit of rage. Although she's never actually killed anyone with her electricity yet, it has been enough to land a few of the clan dragons in the infirmary with serious burns, and most of the dragons in Clawclan are wise enough to keep their distance around her. One is advised to listen for a low humming noise when around her- if it increases in volume, it means that she's irritated, and they had best vacate the premises to avoid being hit with one of her attacks.

Despite her fiery temper and often stubborn attitude, Tempest is still fiercely loyal to those she considers her allies, and woe betide anyone who messes with her select group of friends. She's also one of the few dragons in the clan that tolerates strange humans. She just asks that they don't try to ride her. That didn't end very well last time.
