Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

SunsetPet is a very simple Sunset Dragon, simple in the head. He has no more brains than a kitten, and seems to think he is one. When he was a small hatchling, his human owner used to hold him in her lap. Nothing has yet convinced him that he can't still fit in her lap. As a hatchling it was cute, but it is just ludicrous at this point. SunsetPet can only fit his head and neck in his owner's lap, or his front paw and leg. But if even a small bit of himself is in her lap, he counts aa being "in her lap" and that is good enough for him. His owner might be a bit squished, but she does care deeply for silly SunsetPet, and indulges him.
