Brute Dragons are among the larger dragon breeds. They prefer to live in solitude or small groups, nesting in high, mountainous regions. The only time they openly seek the company of others is during the mating season, when males will fight for the attention of females. The thunderous crash of Brute Dragons butting horns against each other in competition for mates can be heard nearly a mile away.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Kulan Mori is rarely seen without his best friend, Shane withefield, who is often found sitting on his shoulders. As a taciturn dragon, Kulan only speaks when something needs to be said; his intelligence and observant nature taking in much more than many realize, making him a wise advisor to those who seek his counsel. His protective nature extends not only to his best friend, Shane withefield, but to his clan members as well. He is well-respected and well-liked by everyone who knows him; however, when tired, he can become talkative and somewhat flirtatious, which surprises those unaccustomed to this side of his personality. Kulan's positive traits are that he can be generous, loyal, dependable, rational, patient, independent and persistent; while the negative traits are stubbornness, indolence, materialism and possessiveness. Kulan has an imposing demeanor because of his huge body size, he is one of the largest dragons in his clan. Almost having the same height as a small mountain.
