Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Blackclaw follows Speartail through woods, over mountains, and finally into a wasteland before she sees him. She demanded that he would tell her who he was, so he did. He tells her that he noticed she never flew along the way, and she stays silent. Then tells him about the valley, he says he knows the way to this valley and that she is going the wrong way. She does not trust him but follows him anyway, not after long she has already noticed that he is very sweet to her. A little too sweet. She grows skeptical and slips away, until he finds her again. Blackclaw suddenly grows into pain and Speartail knows what he has. Fichuu, a kind of dragon disease where the cure grows only in The Valley of Peace, where they are headed.
