Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Midnight Madness is a night owl. He goes to sleep very late and wakes up late. He was late for everything, including his son's birthday celebration. He and mate decided that it would be nice to make a birthday celebration for his son. They decided to have it the night of their son's birthday, and that the night before the celebration Midnight Madness would go out to hunt down something to eat at the celebration. He was hunting all night. And part of the next day, too. He was very frustrated when he just blew up. It started to pour and lightning struck everywhere. He felt sure he would get something now. And then he smelled it. Something had been burned and it smelled good. He found it and hurried back to the house. When he got there, everything was almost over. But they smelled the meat and decided this party could last a bit longer. So, he uses weather to help him when he really needs it.
