Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

She possesses, like the other dragons of her scroll, a Japanese epithet. Hers is "Ryuunisei", which Japanese and means "Dragon Two Star".

Known for her charm and beauty without any equal, she is named after the Greek Nereid Galateia. As she is not only pretty, but also kind, the males desire her so much that they go through the trouble of giving her presents or even food, so that she does not need to hunt herself, everyday. However, she is also a very modest dragon, not feeling comfortable with receiving so many gifts. Therefore, she usually plays with the dolphins and whales rather than with other Bluna dragons.
