Hellfire Wyverns are so named for their foul tempers and fiery visages. Their social structure places all females above all males, due to superior physical characteristics and violent dispositions. Forced subservience of the males causes them to become vicious, petty, antisocial, and passive-aggressive compared to the aggressive and social females. However, orphaned hatchlings raised by foster parents of another species can develop surprisingly even tempers and mellow dispositions, proving that their defining unpleasant nature is, in fact, a learned behavior.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Lasair Istigh is a Hellfire dragon. She is usually very friendly, despite her pure Hellfire Dragon family. She was abandoned as an egg, but once she was moved from the hatchery to a more suitable living quarters, her parents immediately recognized her. They tried to take her in, and teach her the ways of the Ev'Bad clan, but she refused, and joined the Nis'Angel clan instead. Her parents then took no pride in her being their daughter, and never associated with her again, no matter how hard Lasair Istigh tried to get closer to them. Her Inner Flame, what she was named after, is very powerful, and waiting to be released, as she has never let any fire escape her throat in worry that she will damage things. The Nis'Angel clan is very skeptical about her joining the clan, but accept her nonetheless. Lasair Istigh's Inner Flame is growing and growing, and we can only imagine what will happen to the kingdom when it is released. . .
