Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, larger in males, aiding both in digging up food and protection when fighting for mates. Males are duller in color than females due to their habit of wandering from nest to nest and picking from less algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Amon manoush is stoic, masculine, mature and has a brooding personality, Amon is generally aloof and indifferent, though he is not incapable of genuine kindness and a protective demeanor. He tends to be critical and controlling, stemming from living in the wild while he was still a hatchling. This forced him to take on adult responsibilities at a young age until he got accepted in his clan that he still lives with till this day. A lot of dragons in the clan who usually never experienced living in the wild or that never even had a different scroll master before are fascinated by his unusual background. Amon likes to interact with dragons who are laid-back, naive, and fun-loving because it contrast so much with his personality. Amon's bony black crest is extremely dangerous which he often uses to defend himself in combat. Amon also has a considerable amount of raw physical strength. This may be even the reason that he could survive the wildness when he was so little.
