When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Riversong Locrian, meaning "a diatonic scale, progressing through tones".

Locrian is an adventurous, optimistic dragon. Even as a hatchling he could be seen with his friend (now mate) Amabile, who he lovingly nicknamed Mia; foraging the outskirts of the herd's territory. After growing his fins, the water dragon felt the call of the open ocean but his love for his sweetheart made each day without her seem like a grueling eternity. Since then he has taken up habitat in the wide and deep Lake Lucerne not far from where the Riversong herd resides. Occasionally he leaves to adventure in the open ocean, bringing back captivating stories of the weird and wonderful creatures he meets, along with a wide range of exotic and new fishes for his lake friends to sample. Never forgetting his Mia, Locrian always brings back many elegant and pretty shells and corals and of course, a seemingly neverending variety of sea-weeds that the couple relish together.
