Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tinsel Sensation is, like his mate, strikingly beautiful yet sadly lacking in social graces.  He's convinced he is the most wonderful tinsel ever to have lived, but feels that most other dragons lack the refined taste to appreciate this fact.  Thus, Tinsel Sensation makes sure that every conversation he takes part in eventually revolves around his many charms.  As he's also a master of the casual insult and condescending remark, he has very few friends among the other dragons, and even Golden Tantrum barely tolerates him.
