White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kira Survived is one of three dragons knighted "Survived" by mistress Les, along with Humble the mint, and Kira's mate Brutus. The three of them-and one other-were eggs when Les left on a long trip and became lost and unable to return to the cave. The adult dragons, having never raised young on their own, feared for Kira and her nestmate's survival. Sadly, one of them failed to make it. However, Kira and the others survived, and when Les finally returned, she gave them the special names in honor of their strength.

Kira takes after her scholar mother Sakuya, with a love of discovery and mystery. She is a sweet dragon and a good mother to her children, grateful to have been three who survived a near tragedy.
