Dorsal Dragons are so named because they have large fins along their backs that can be raised and lowered at will. They use these fins to regulate body temperature; they raise them to cool off when they become overheated. The bright colors on the fins double as a means of attracting mates.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A dragon of darkness and shadows, The TrollishGatekeeper is the one who guards the gates to the realm that belongs to the Twili Clan. Most find him rather annoying and frustrating, as he tends to force people to play his game in order to gain access to the gate itself. The reason behind this is because he tends to pull pranks on the players and wreaks havoc on their strategies, as the game itself only lasts one hour. If said game isn't won by a player before time runs out, the TrollishGatekeeper is declared the winner. He's also known to have a very short fuse on his temper and can easily lose it within a fraction of a second for seemingly no reason at all. Even when the game's not going, some have heard his laughter when the gate is seemingly unguarded, the only sign that he's still there, lurking within the shadows. In fact, the only reason why he's the gatekeeper and in the Twili Clan in the first place is because he's the only one guarding the gate.
