Pyralspite dragons are small, swift dragons that can breathe an intensely hot flame. They get their name from their resemblance to and affinity for garnets of the pyralspite family—they hoard such gems, preferring garnets that match their variant, and can tell the type of garnet from how it tastes. The red-violet variant is referred to as Almandine. Almandine Pyralspites are more aggressive than others of the same breed, and are very witty and love to mock or insult their opponents. They inhabit mountainous areas.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The moment more than a handful of dragons' attentions are on Lascrimosa, her entire body becomes paralyze, overwhelmed with the sheer multitude of eyes boring holes into her vibrant hide. Most as shy as her would retreat to a cave deep in the wilderness and bury themselves in their studies or become recluse terrors. But Lascrimosa burns to do one thing: perform. Nothing is more thrilling than being able to not only portray a character on stage but also understand the character, creating a story that is written between the lines of her script. Luckily "static theatre" -- images of live performances in closed sets magically recorded and stored in special crystals to be watched over and over again at whim -- has had a recent rise in popularity. Lascrimosa is a prominent actress for a group that produces static theatre crystals and is renowned throughout Galsriem. She does her best to hide from her adoring fans; she is flattered by their devotion will always despise the spotlight.
