Mistlet Pygmies thrive in humid environments and are most content when frolicking in the rain or fog. The cheerful demeanor they exhibit provides a remarkable contrast to their shadowy appearance, bringing joy in otherwise gloomy environments. Mistlets are an especially beautiful sight in long summer evenings, as their streak of vibrant scales catch the fading sunlight. They spend a great deal of their time foraging for edible roots and insects, and sometimes enjoy treats in the form of small fish or frogs.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Pygmy dragons are the smallest category of dragons, being on the same scale as domesticated animals. They are often found around concentrated populations of dragons, relying on their larger brethren to ward away potential predators and leave scraps. As such, the majority of a pygmy’s diet is scavenged. Due to their tiny size, pygmies do not breed with larger varieties of dragons.
User Description
Nightmare Star is a fairly odd dragon. She was secluded from society when she was young, so she is a little socially awkward. She'll yell at people in a medieval way, which tends to frighten them. Poor Nightmare Star doesn't understand what she's doing. Unfortunately, due to her size, it is mostly the hatchlings she ends up scaring. She's not meaning too, of course, since she thinks that it's all in fun. Someone had better teach her what "fun" really is before she causes any real harm. No one is really sure why she wasn't allowed to make any friends at a young age, thus causing her to not understand basics of conversations and interactions.
