Imperial Fleshcrownes are an active and playful breed. They are equally good at flying and climbing and while they are not good swimmers, they love to take an occasional dip. Fleshcrownes live in large social groups called “communities.” Adult Fleshcrownes share the responsibility of looking after the young, who are very playful and active. Even after maturing, they retain their curious and mischievous natures, often getting into trouble. The fleshy crowns on their head can be raised at will, and are usually erect when happy, excited, or scared. Fleshcrownes—being a very peaceful breed—are more prone to flight than fight. If threatened, they can raise their crowns while hissing in an attempt to scare off predators.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The interviewer, brave dragon that he is, had a hard time approaching Quill. Not because she's dangerous or feared, or anything like that. It's because her personality makes next to no sense. In her own words:

"I like to think I'm a relaxed dragon. I burn herbs to help me relax. I soak in hot springs daily. Nothing really gets to me." She said, sipping some chamomile tea. "But the weird thing is, is that I love a good thrill. And I don't mean just getting scared then having a laugh. I mean jumping-from-a-cliff-with-your-wings-bound kind of thing."

There was a long pause here, then Quill continued.

"I actually did that once. Jumped headlong into the lake with my wings tied. That got my blood pumping—broke a few bones though. Everything considered, it went better than my trip to the active volcano..."

Here, the interviewer sneezed violently, in response to the herbs being burned, politely excused himself, then vowed to never enter that Den again. Ever.
