Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Living in the jungle ever since his abandonment as a hatchling, Aurea lived in isolation and grew a heart of stone. When he was drinking water from his stream, Aurea spotted a group of haggard travelers who were making themselves at home. Outraged, he demanded that they leave at once or else he would chase them out. Sighing, the blue dragon rose to her feet, padded to the stream, gazed longingly into its depths then began to leave. The other followed sadly. Aurea gazed after them and suddenly, his heart softened. He called after the dragons and said they could stay for one night. Overjoyed, the dragons came back and settled gratefully in. They introduced themselves as Luna Castos, The Tea Guardian, Rise of the Morning Sun and Little Wing who happened to be a Luna Moth.
