Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Norike is a swift, silent hunter. This is quite amazing because of his glittering, shining body. The way he flies over his prey makes it look like the moons light reflected off his scales is the moonlight itself. He will swoop down and grab the animal and carry it away. On clear nights, Norike will take relaxing flights and meditate. On cloudy nights when the weather isn't all that great, he will stay in his cave and sleep. If there is a battle, he will stay out of it unless he is absolutely needed or unless he is in danger. Norike really isn't the fighting type. He did become a bit famous for clubbing the leader of an enemy army with his tail when flying away from another dragon, but he claims it was an accident. How modest.
