Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is very brightly colored and loves fruit.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Ceees is always hungry and will try to eat nearly anything that resembles a fruit. She seems to favor mangoes over most other fruits, but she is far from picky. Her small hoard is filled with apple seeds and peach pits that she likes to collect for some reason. She tends to sleep a great deal more than even most hatchlings do, but when she is awake, she is bouncing around gleefully in anticipation of her next meal.
