Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Her name means "Black Beautiful Maiden" in Japanese. She is one of the many daughters of Kentaro and Kiyomi, and was raised in one of their larger clutches. She was raised alongside her sisters Kigi and Insei; her brother Zensho; and her younger brothers Kenkou, Heisui, Abanchu-ru, and Genshirin. She is an incredibly beautiful black dragon, with large frilled ears, gently curving ebony horns, a solid black hide, and glowing green eyes. She is a fantastic singer, and an artist too. She loves to paint beautiful night scenes, particularly of the moon over water. All this and more made her a highly desirable mate, and Baishakunin really looked forward to finding a perfect match for her. However, it was soon evident that the perfect match for her was himself. They enjoyed a wonderful courtship, and became mates on a beautiful spring day. They are so in love, and always will be. They look forward to being together forever.
