Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Bluedanube enjoys his life in the deep ocean where he not only has many other Blunas in his pod to romp with, but also many whales and dolphins which regularly migrate through the pod's territory. His favorite food is yellow-fin tuna because they are so fast he gets to really test himself in catching the agile sport fish. The pod also migrates around the vast oceans in a slow rotation, and when they come close to shore they all enjoy a rub in the soft sand of the warm shallows. This is also the time when females will drag themselves out of the water to lay their eggs in the warm tropical sands before burying them and when hatchlings are due to emerge to join the family pod.
