Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. LuminaHunk is a Lumina Dragon madly in love with his Albino mate, AlbinoBeauty. The two spend all of their time together. When LuminaHunk preens, AlbinoBeauty gives him advise. Together, the two try to keep LuminaHunk as the cleanest and prettiest Lumina Dragon in their cave. Unfortunately, AlbinoBeauty's oily skin can get on LuminaHunk's scales, and then he has to pull them all out. Every year, during mating season, LuminaHunk sheds all his scales after breeding with AlbinoBeauty, but he considers it very much worth it. The rest of the year, the two dragons try not to physically touch, so LuminaHunk's scales stay shiny and clean.
