Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Being the first dragon of the clan, Demitir is one of the leaders, and is the oldest dragon hatched in the clan. She spends most of her time at the very back of the cave, coming out only to eat and when she is called or needed. As she ages, she becomes more and more secluded, sharing her wisdom and experiences with younger dragons.

Demitir is very restless. She is constantly rustling her wings, turning her head, shifting her weight, or flicking her tail. Even when curled up, she often stretches her leathery wings. Small noises will make her sit up and investigate, but loud noises don't quite attract her attention.

She's very pleased when people come to visit her, and is very close to the other cave-dwellers. She also enjoys playfully spooking curious hatchlings that want to explore the back of the cave, but only for a bit of fun. The bravest hatchlings get to hear her stories and advice.
