Honey Drakes are small, energetic creatures that feed almost exclusively on flower nectar, honey, and insects. The myriad scales covering their bodies protect them from the stings of angry bees as they feed from hives, though these dexterous and wily drakes rarely need the protection. Though notably silent most of the time, Honey Drakes are capable of producing a purr-like thrum that seems to calm bees down, and their ravenous appetite for nectar results in a free meal for the hive, harvested from the drakes’ own scales.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Suitsima, or "Sweets" for short, is a very hyper and sugar obsessed little drake. She'll do anything and everything for just a little sugary treat, no matter how hard or extreme the task. Not even basic morals affect her decisions when sugar is involved; one could hold up a jar of honey and tell her to commit a murder, and she'd  do it, no questions asked. This odd and somewhat ridiculous behavior of hers has turned Sweets into what is basically the lair's dog. Dragons will call for her throughout the day, offering nectar, honey, cookies, chocolate, etc. in return for just about whatever they want from her. Some have even gotten so lazy with her around that they'll "pay" her for stupidly minuscule tasks, such as fetching a glass of water. The only task that can't be safely given to her is fetching more sugary goods, since she can't help but eat some, or all, on the way back.
